Disc 3 is titled, 'From Book to Vision' and includes features on adapting the book into a screenplay, designing and building Middle-earth, Weta Workshop visit, guided tour of the wardrobe department, and more. Disc 4 is titled 'From Vision to Reality' and focuses on bringing the characters to life, a day in the life of a hobbit, creating the illusion of size, sound design demonstration, and much more. This PG-13 version of the film is 208 minutes long.
